Brotherly Love

Every time Elizabeth is laying on the couch, bed or floor, and Max notices, he lays by her. We think it's adorable, of course. The first few times he did it, we hurried and pulled out the camera. Now every time he lays by her, he asks us to take pictures of them. So needless to say, we have A LOT of pictures of the two of them (they're all pretty similar though). Here are a few:

Oh, how I LOVE those cheeks!!

Max always has to have a turn in the Bumbo, Bouncer, Swing, Carseat...

These are the joy of our life!!

Elizabeth Louisa Wright

This post is long overdue...

We welcomed our sweet baby Elizabeth at 3:05 PM March 20th. She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and was 20.5 inches long.  She is an angel and we can't imagine life without her.

Elizabeth the day she was born, right after her first bath.

Max wasn't allowed in the hospital, so we left 25 hours after she was born. :)

Two weeks old.

Three weeks old!!

Max is adjusting really well because he has been surrounded by his aunts.

At first, he didn't like her. He ignored her and tried pushing her away from me. But he has started to show interest and even gets possessive. We don't have any pictures of the two together...Yet. We love our little family and can't wait to be with our Daddy again in two weeks.

Lover's Point

After a week of horrible, cold, wet weather, we finally had a sunny day. Max had a rough week not being able to go outside. He would seriously live outside if we let him. We took advantage of the sun by going to this beautiful park/beach called Lover's Point.

Max had a blast. Especially when his Daddy took him exploring around. Because of my big belly, I decided to watch from a close distance. :) We hope the good weather stays.

What a Mess!!

We fingerpainted for the first time this week. Max enjoyed the experience so much. I went out of the room for a quick minute...which turned into 2 or 3 minutes...and this is what I came back to.

(excuse the dirty nose...I cleaned his nose after I noticed, but he wouldn't smile anymore :))

So after he finished, we rushed to the tub. Of course, Max couldn't help but touch something with those slimy, purple hands.

It took quite a bit of soap and water to clean him off, but it was such a fun experience for him.

Happy Halloween!!!

We're a couple of days late, of course...But HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Here's our little soccer player.

Max had/has a glazed over look, so I told him to smile...that was his smile.
(Neils tried to do his hair, but Max insisted on doing it himself)

He didn't particularly care about his costume, but he LOVED all of the treats he received in his little pumpkin bag.
